What is Performance Rock Camp?

The 2011 Rock Camp sessions just finished up; and we had yet another successful year! If you are thinking about signing up next time around, this is what it’s all about.

Have fun learning songs and performing them as a band, coached by professional musicians. Get performance tips, learn how to rehearse a song with a band and polish it up to a performance level. Gain experience playing with a real band.

Performance Rock Camp

The 2011 Camp Session dates and times were:

• Camp 1: June 6th – 11th
• Camp 2: June 13th – 18th
• Camp 3: July 11th – 15th (advanced camp)
• Camp 4: July 18th – 23rd
• Camp 5: August 1st – 6th
• Camp 6: “Beginners Camp” August 8th – 13th

Time:   Monday – Friday 9:30am – 11am.
Final Performance Time TBA Each Week

Ages: 9 – 17 yrs.

Experience level: Advanced beginners or intermediate players. Basic rhythm/counting skills, chord knowledge (including barre chords), and notation/tab reading skills required.

Cost: $275 (includes all materials except guitars and basses. Drum Kit provided.)

There will be a final performance for the students at the end of each week.
